An excellent auction house. Great service. The staff are very friendly and obliging. Just a pleasure to do business with. Every week a great selection of lovely decorative antiques.

We have recently sold numerous items in several recent sales. The staff have all been really kind and helpful. Joseph came to the house to review the items and arrange for them to be sold, a very helpful and friendly man came to pack the items and Denise in the office was always really patient and answered our numerous questions very quickly. Cannot fault the whole process and would definitely use again.

I recently sold an item through Gorringe's and explained that the proceeds would be going to Ukraine appeal. They were helpful, stored the item for some time before entering into auction and then waved their commissions and charges to help add to the donation. I found them easy to talk to, contact by e mail was quick and clear. monies paid to my account quite quickly I thought given the number of items in the sales.

Gorringes provided an excellent service from start to finish. Joseph Trinder came to my house, was kind and considerate helping go through what l could sell with them, and what was not saleable, and moving forward was always on the end of the phone if l had queries, nothing was too much trouble. They collected everything and transported expertly the items, some very large. I was efficiently kept informed of sale dates and sale results and received payment without delay. All the staff l came in contact with was very professional, polite and helpful, and of course very knowledgeable. l would recommend them with complete faith.

Absolute charlatans, very vague with item descriptions make sure you do your homework before buying from these people
