Goodwin Martial Arts

We provide Martial Arts classes specifically designed for 4-7 year olds (Little P.U.M.A.'s) as well as Taekwon-do and Kickboxing classes for all ages from 7 years old.

Little P.U.M.A.'s has been designed to stimulate and engage the children, helping them to learn whilst having FUN!

Little P.U.M.A.’s is fun for your little ones as well as educational. Our class numbers, unlike others, are limited to ensure quality learning and instruction. Our Intsructors are fully trained in First Aid and Child Safeguarding and are DBS checked.

In addition to teaching basic Martial Arts skills we focus on different learning themes, including: Balance, Coordination, Concentration & Focus, Discipline, Coordination, Dealing with Strangers, Team work, Emergency Skills, and Discipline

Taekwon-do is for everyone of any age or ability, and there are many benefits to starting Taekwon-do whoever you are – confidence, motivation, fitness, weight loss and a sense of personal achievement, to name but a few.

Taekwon-do is a traditional Martial Art based on the ancient art of using punches and kicks to defend yourself.

Kickboxing is a modern Martial Art, also based on the use of using punches and kicks to defend yourself. For those that are looking to lose weight or get fit, these classes are great as they are fast tempo and fun. Both Kickboxing and Taekwon-do are great stress relievers; hitting some pads is a brilliant way of burning off some stress after a hard day at work. The classes also help to teach you how to defend yourself or to avoid confrontation.

At Goodwin Martial Arts everyone is welcome whatever your background or ability. There is something for everyone within Taekwon-do and Kickboxing. Whatever your goals, needs or requirements, we can work with you to help you learn and progress towards your goals.
