Solid wood floor fitting.

Dell at Good Wood Flooring fitted my solid wood floor and I couldn’t be happier with his work. It was great dealing with him both before the job started and while he was carrying out the work. His attention to detail to his craft is something I really appreciated, as he wants to get the very best results possible. He won’t leave something that he feels is not up to his very high standard. His quality craftsmanship is evident in the end result, which looks brilliant. He has a lot of experience in the business and is very knowledgeable and he will give you honest assessments of any job, which again helps a great deal in achieving the best end result. Would certainly recommend!

Dell arrived bang on time, worked hard to get my engineered oak floor fitted and just when he thought he was done and on his way home my skirting boards arrived! He had the choice to leave them and return to do them, but he chose to stay and complete the job. He worked a very long (and hot) day and completed everything to an excellent standard. Can't fault his work ethic and quality
of workmanship.

Dell was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the job, offered us valuable advice, and completed the job quickly and to a very high standard. Overall a very friendly and personable service, impeccable workmanship and an excellent price. Engineered wooden flooring

Dell did a great job in my flat. I had engineered wood flooring installed in my living room, bedroom and hall and the end result was excellent. Really pleased with it. Dell is very well-mannered, reliable and professional. He always arrived on time and cleaned up after his day’s work. I had a lot of questions when I was considering the job, but Dell kindly answered all my questions and gave me good tips and advice. He also helped me to find a replacement for the threshold bars which I could not find on-line! It was a pleasure to deal with Dell. I would have no problem in recommending him!

I advertised for a flooring job, my hallway and bedroom
Needed laying as I wasn't able to finish the job having completed my living room. Steve arrived and quoted for the job. I then arranged for him to carry out the work. All I can say is he was professional and very tidy, worked throughout the day, completed on time and an excellent finish achieved, by far a company I could and would reccommend to others.

Dell did an absolutely brilliant job fitting a new engineered floor in three rooms of my home. The quality of work is great, Dell was reliable and quick, and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Dell did a great job and is a great guy. He spoke up when he saw a potential issue and had ideas on how to fix. He cares a lot about the job. I would recommend to anyone and as soon as I am ready to do some more flooring I would contact again.

Dell did a fantastic job. He was very responsive to all our questions and came up with great suggestions taking into account just what we were after. He laid our new carpet and laminate swiftly and professionally. Would highly recommend him!

Highly recommended floor fitter

Absolutely brilliant. Dell and his team have just finished fitting a laminate floor (that I chose), the finish is impeccable. Dell is very polite, considerate and efficient (the whole house was completed in two days). He was also in the house all day with his own set of keys, so trustworthy. I found the company just by doing a Google search and have been very lucky as ordinarily I like to choose painters decorators, fitters, plumbers, etc via word off mouth. Great job fitting carpets!

Dell was amazing for start to finish - he recommended a better carpet that cost less and was able to fit it very quickly. I was so impressed that we didn't have to move any furniture and 2 bedrooms and 2 hallways were done in less than a day! The carpet looks wonderful and I would absolutely recommend Dell (and will use him again!)

I was very impressed with Good Wood Flooring, if you need a new floor I recommend using these guys. The guy who fitted my floor was very efficient and professional, there was minimal waste which saved me money, the quality of the work was brilliant and finished to a very high standard. He worked quickly and clearly had a vast knowledge on his profession, a friendly and funny guy too! I was quite nervous about the job and had lots of questions but Good Wood Flooring answered every question with knowledge, experience and guidance which really put my mind at rest. I'd definitely use these guys again, I trust them to advise, provide cost effective solutions and do a great job. My new floor is beautiful! Thanks Good Wood Flooring!

Someone who actually cares about their client and is willing to spend time to make them happy. Del went to the carpet warehouse to go through samples with me; he gave me a list of all the attributes I'd want for quality engineered wood so I could make an informed choice from all the various finishes. The fitting was quick and the result great. Aside from that, just a genuine person working as part of a really nice family team.

I was able to the book job at very short notice, so I was extremely lucky. Finished the job in 1 and 1/2 days. Very professional, excellent workmanship, gave good advice and made "minimal wastage". Love the floor.
