Business overview

Golden Valley Vets - Clevedon branch

Golden Valley Vets offer top quality veterinary care through five locations in North Somerset; Nailsea, Chew Magna, Clevedon, Long Ashton and Wrington.

Our Clevedon branch is open between 8.30 a.m and 6.30 p.m. five days a week and on Saturday mornings. When closed, the phones divert to our Nailsea hospital so there is someone on hand to help you 24/7.

We treat all family pets and work with you to keep them happy, healthy and active throughout their lives. As the largest practice in the area we have invested in facilities and resources to offer our clients the type of care we would want for our own pets whilst still being able to provide great value for money.

Very poor

Absolutely shocking. The vet we saw didn’t appear interested or qualified - she wasn’t able to take the dogs temperature and missed clear and obvious signs of a lump which was later picked up and resolved by Watkins and Tasker. (Who took very good care of our pet). When we raised the issue with the manager she was more interested in receiving payment than assessing the poor service we received.

Bad Treatment resulting in the death of our dog

Poor leadership culture at this practice. We placed our beloved dog in the care of this practice and was seriously let down. Our dog died as a result of poor advice and a unwillingness to response to our concerns when raised. Our view would be to avoid this veterinary chain at all costs.

Over dosed my cat on insulin.

This veterinary practice has gone down hill substantially. One of my cats was killed by them due to them over dosing him in insulin, causing massive brain damage. The behaviour of their practice manager and one if their nurses in causing and in relation to this issue was horrendous. I would never take an animal to them again for treatment.
