I have used Goldcrest for servicing & bodywork of our personal & company cars for the past 39years. I have always found them to be courtious, excelent at fault finding, charge reasonable prices and with no hidden costs.
I have taken my company cars to Goldcrest even when under warranty after being frequently let down by incompetent main dealers.

I haven't found a better garage in St Albans than Gold Crest

I went to this garage on a previous recommendation to get the front windscreen wiper tube unblocked but on getting the car back, the back wiper leaked on the inside, they denied any responsibility for this, saying it was accidental and a result of unblocking the front, they then repaired it- for £70! replacing parts, which I now wonder were needed at all, because when I collected it this time the back windscreen wiper wasn't working at all. They then decided that the motor for the back windscreen was broken & that they'd ring me with a price, meanwhile i was offered chocolate, for my trouble, whilst they joked about bribery! Well the phone call never came and my husband took the wiper apart & connected the wires that they'd somehow managed to miss! ...it now works fine. It's worth noting that they are not part of the Motor Ombudsman that regulates garages so in future I will look out for that. In the meantime avoid these wide boys with their smooth patter....!

I had an accident in my car that wasnt my fault, found Gold Crest on Yell and they were local to me.
Gave me a coutrtesy car repaired the bodywork to a high standard and also put a tyre on for me at no extra cost

Would definately recommend, professional service
