Gerry has been a Funeral Director in the town since 2002. Prior to establishing Gerald Mellon Funeral Directors in July 2014, he worked for Co-op Funeralcare and then for Paterson and Hughes in Cumbernauld Village.

• I personally deal with all aspects of the arrangements - you only deal with me

• Funeral will happen at the family’s timescale and

DO NOT BE TOLD YOU HAVE TO WAIT A FORTNIGHT FOR A SERVICE

• No cost for any Viewing of the deceased in my office during the day OR in the evening

• No charge if family wish deceased to be viewed at their home

• First family Limousine is free of charge

• I only supply quality veneered wood coffins – nothing of poor quality for your loved ones

Anyone arranging a Funeral should remember that their first visit to an Undertaker should be treated as an enquiry; they are under no obligation and are free to check the services offered by other Funeral Directors. Also that prices are often advertised but are not what you may be asked to pay when you visit a Funeral Director's office – I do not do this – nothing will be added on

It may be in some cases you may receive a cheaper quote from a competitor but check the small print when you speak to them to make sure it is a like for like quote.
