didn’t wanna give me a refund five minutes after purchasing an item explain to him The item would not work and for the job I needed to do asked for a refund because it was contactless he refused to give me a refund after five minutes of explaining the trading law which didn’t faze in much reluctant to give me refund asked for cash out of his till if you have to do it as I was not leaving his door he eventually did give me my refund on the same card that are used for contactless pay

Gates is the worst shop in east London, and I seriously mean that. Everyone that works there has no sense of respect and care for customers. No morals, just care about the money they rip off. This is the most serious review I’ve made this place will charge you double price on everything compare to other DIY shops. It’s because the community is unaware of the actual cost of items and how much cheaper they can be received. There so tight and overpriced that they will even charge you for a bag, there only a small store. It’s a mess store and have always spread the word for no one to visit there plenty better DIY stores in walking distance where advice to customers is more important than money.

I bought a light for under my ktn unit it cost £8.99 I asked for a bag and was told I have to pay 5p I asked if they had more than 800 staff in the shop he said yes across the country, he lied there is only one shop would not recommend any one to go to this shop they are a rip off. my rating of them is nil
