Hi I’m Val

I created Valerie Ann Artisan Cakes to provide a luxury brand catering for special occasions and gift opportunities in my local community.

I started my career in the catering industry when I left school, gaining my City and Guilds qualifications through full time further education and later day release, from my employment as an Assistant Cook. When I married and had a family, my return to the workplace took me down a different avenue.

The past 12 years I have been working for a High Street bank, resolving Customers Complaints.

The Pandemic changed a lot of things and I decided it was time for a change too. The opportunity for me to return to my roots and for my career to turn full circle back where I started all those years ago has been amazing.

I still get the opportunity to help people and make them happy, which I love.

Love is one of the main ingredients of everything I create. I want to Share that Love with you all.

I am super excited for the future of Gateau Valerie. I hope you will be part of my journey.
