Our visit

1
Lovely settings but we were very disappointed with the cafe.
When ordering food I was over charged £4, when I asked why, the staff simply said the prices have been raised but no menus or signs had been edited.
We waited over an hour and twenty minutes for a pizza and when we asked twice if our order had been put through the pizza was finally brought out. Unfortunately the pizza was uncooked and the dough was still raw. When we asked about a refund the staff instructed us that they were unable to give refunds as they were cashless and their devices were unable to give refunds.

Other families were in a similar situation and many customers were unhappy.

Cafe a haven on a miserable day

5
Arrived at Garw Nant in pouring rain in search of cafe on our way to South Wales. So pleased to find cafe open and a very friendly, welcoming lady to serve us, like a ray of sunshine on such a miserable day. Emma went out of her way to provide a gluten free breakfast for myself and a for my husband. Enjoyed our meal and drink which was good value, cakes good price and good variety compared with other visitor centres and cooked freshly and quickly. Lovely setting will return in better weather to explore reserve. It's nice that cafe opens every day and not just on weekends.
