Garden Beautiful is a small, friendly local company run by Bobbie. We have been offering gardening services to homes in Canterbury and the surrounding areas for the last 6 years.

The client had a gorgeous vegetable patch with raised beds and brick paths he had installed 3 years previously. The patch and paths had become overgrown with weeds and the area was unusable without a lot of hard graft to get it ready for planting.

This was a lovely little Victorian garden that had been badly designed with oversized decking and poorly laid gravel which, over time, failed to suppresses any weeds. Our client wanted a low maintenance garden, but which still kept the magic of the space and with some areas left for plants.

Our client chose this lovely blue slate which sets off the old wall beautifully. The decking was removed to reveal a rather charming higgeldy piggeldy patio which was cleaned up to create a totally useable and open space in the garden. Flower beds were created using old bricks found in the garden.

Allotment cleared, beds dug, enriched with manure and ready for planting.

This garden in central Canterbury had become very overgrown over the course of just a few months. Brambles and long grass completely covered the path and a flower bed at the back.

You can actually see the path now! It was mid summer, so the grass was pretty dead, but space was made for the garden to come back to life. A rose on the back wall, now exposed, was suggested.

Efficient restoration of a neglected garden

Bobbie tidied, cleared and weeded what had been my mother-in-law's garden, which had become overgrown following her death. At our request, Bobbie saved any plants she could as we didn't want it just digging over, we wanted to restore it to something like its former glory. She did an excellent job, and was very sensitive to what we wanted. She worked efficiently, and stuck to a pre-agreed budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Bobbie and Garden Beautiful.

Amazing

Bobbie is a phenomenal gardener, and lovely human being. She has a lot of creative ideas, but always made sure to get my input so that it was something we created together. She's a hard worker and meticulous in everything she does. Bobbie will be stuck with me for a long time as there's no one I trust more with my little escape from reality.

Brilliant service and trustworthy.

Garden Beautiful provides a brilliant service at our rented out property near Whitstable. She works well and always ensures that the garden/driveways/hedges are all well maintained. As we work together from a distance she always keeps me up to date with how the garden is looking ( sending photos from time to time too) and if there are any problems lets us know straight away. She will always suggest if any other work needs to be carried out.
Garden Beautiful is a trustworthy company too.
