Gary did a brilliant job installing my garage lights and configuring the re-wiring, I am extremely pleased. Excellent communication all the way through. Talked me through the work as he did it, very helpful and very nice to speak with. Will definitely be using him again for future work, highly recommended.

Having used Gary before I chose G-SPARK Electrical services again when requiring an EICR for my rental property. Gary drew a plan of all sockets/lights and shared photographs (which you don’t normally get from electricians), thoroughly checked all sockets in the property, rearranged cables in the consumer to facilitate next installation report, and rectified issues in the consumer unit left from previous installation when property was recently refurbished. He explained exactly what needed to be rectified and why, which was helpful. Not only is the property safer for my tenants and I have a satisfactory report, but also it gives me extra peace of mind should I need to sell the property in the future.
Thanks to his high standards of work, I relied on Gary for an EICR on another property a year later.

When you find a good electrician, keep hold of them! Gary is a keeper. We needed an overhaul of our electrics in our house and Gary came and thoroughly assessed what we needed. He explained his plan and estimate in an easy to understand and accessible way, and we didn't feel rushed or pressurised into a decision. He was also just the same dealing with a woman as he was with a man, whereas sadly many tradespeople are not. When we decided to go ahead he turned up when he said he would and got on with the job with minimal inconvenience to us. Gary is able to think outside of the box and he provided a novel solution to some tricky parts of the job, and we felt that he took providing SAFE as well as practical solutions very seriously. Several years on we are still very happy with his work and have just asked him to come back for other work now.

Gary has been absolutely superb. We had quite an awkward job and he took great care to really understand our needs and do the job right. Communication has been great throughout.

He works on the basis that you pay for materials (at cost) and then the time he actually takes to do the work. If he needs to spend a little more time than expected to do the job then you'll pay a little more, which is absolutely right and fair. I'd much rather pay for another few hours of his time and have the job done really well.

Gary takes great pride in his work and was very careful when working in a historic building.
