G. R. Humber is a third generation family run business that have been trading from our South London base for over 75 yrs.

HOW WE WORK

Once contact has been made through either phone or email an experienced estimater will call at your convenience, we will then assertain which one of the three ways we can clear your property

1. If all the items that you have are resalable we will purchase the items from you.

2. If you have certain items saleable and certain items to be disposed of in this case we can usually clear free of charge.

3. If all the items you have are not saleable there will be a charge to clear your property. During our house clearance process and direct clients approach, we buy all types of furniture and make them available to your at affordable prices. You could also choose to sell your used furniture to us and get convenient prices. G. R. Humber will inspect your used furniture and provide you with an estimate so you can sell the old furniture and make way for new goods. If all the furniture that you have are resalable, we will purchase the items from you. If certain items are saleable and certain items needs to be disposed, we can usually clear free of charge. If the furniture items are not in a saleable condition, there will be a charge to for clearance

Sean and colleagues worked incredibly hard to clear my mums old "hoarder" house. Entire house, overgrown garden and packed garage all cleared of furniture and mounds of rubbish in a week. Kept me up to date with pictures of progress. Very professional and honest, placing any valuables aside. Highly recommended.

Quick and thorough flat clearance

Sean and his team provided a great service clearing my mum’s flat. They were quick and careful and easy to get on with. They also were thoughtful about other residents in the building and minimised disruption for them. Thanks Sean!

What an excellent service Sean an his team gave. They attended the flat to give me an estimate, Sean came at the appointment day and time. Even though it was several months between when he gave me the estimate and when I was ready for the clearance, he didn’t keep pestering me. They were very quick and careful doing the job and the price was as originally quoted.
