G R Balustrades

Brilliant service from start to finish, excellent customer service from measuring to fitting what a brilliant set of guys could not fault, and the quality of the product and the fitting perfect. WELL DONE !!!!!!

We ordered glass balustrades for our staircase. Two guys came to measure up, they were here for about ten minutes max. We changed our mind mid term deciding we wanted frosted glass instead of clear. It cost a little more but that was no problem for them. On the arranged day they were unable to come due to a supply problem, however, two days later a team of four or five turned up. They took the stair spindles off and disposed of them for us. All part of the service, one guy said. They were extremely tidy, leaving no mess and done a wonderful job. The job took about four hours. I thought it would take much longer. We are completely satisfied.

Poor communication. Constantly let down with nobody turning up as planned. This went on for weeks. Very poor customer service with poor excuses given.
End product satisfactory however having the workmen block our car on our drive, since head office had asked them not to leave until we had paid immediately,was extremely intimidating and unnecessary. We had already paid a hefty deposit despite prior to the poor service and had not even had chance to check over the workmanship.
Attitude of contact was extremely unprofessional when this was raised.

Booked in for GR Balustrades to come and fit our Balustrades in March and deposit was paid. On the day of fitting this was cancelled with poorly constructed excuses (regarding products not arriving) and a new date was rearranged for next week. To keep the story short - this company failed to turn up and fit the balustrade on a further two occasions with no prior warning and was uncontactable! Ignoring all my phone calls and messages. The company continued to lie to me about their reasonings for being unable to fit the balustrade in any reasonable time frame - even forgetting their own lies sometimes and contradicting themselves. They continued to string me along all the way until today May 14th. I even had to chase and chase them to refund my deposit when enough was enough. I believe it was only refunded because I threatened to contact trading standards. An absolute shambles of a company with zero customer service skills or morals. Utterly shameful.
