Total disappointment @ G M S

Bought PRV for my valiant boiler. GMS charged £40 where others will do it for maximum £18.49
Besides the extortionate price they don't accep return on an open box. Bunch of clowns not helpful at all on returns just love to sell goods at very high price. Do not recommend.

I have been a customer of GMS for many years now. The staff are informative and knowledgeable about the field. They always strive to help in whatever situation you may have. They go above and beyond to provide you with the service you deserve. They are reasonably priced and have a vast array of stock. Anything they don't have can generally be ordered in within a day or two. Highly recommended. A* service. Will continue to use until I retire.

I bought an expandle vassel for a boiler from them. I opened the box gently. My boiler had a round one .They sold me a square vassel wich I didn't used.I came back to their GMS shop but they didn't want to give my money back becouse the box was opened.
I wander if it was closed they shouldn't open to check what is inside?
Their "policy " is not telling nothing about opening the box.
Now I have to complain them to CCPC.
Carefully to this shop!I will never buy again from them !

*Customer *Expansion *Vessel Their policy is explained on the receipt and clearly says that returns are accepted if the item is in re-sellable condition and will be subject to a 25% restocking charge. This is why engineers are required to provide the correct information in regards to their purchase to avoid unnecessary mistakes. If the correct information is provided then their will be no problems for any party. I find it hard to believe that a) the correct information was supplied b) you are a registered gas engineer and c) whether you understand how to read, because clearly the signs all around the shop and the information provided on the receipt was not read by yourself. Reviews are designed to provide an accurate representation of a business, not for disgruntled customers to slander a business based on the fact that you didn't get what you wanted. (A return for an item not in re sellable condition.) Maybe you should give the staff the correct information next time.
