Did work on my property in 2002 provided a transferable guarantee of 30 years .
The work they did has failed miserably. When contacted they sent some retired gentleman round to check guarantee etc he confirmed that the drawing was correct and that it was in fact his signature on the guarantee and said they were at fault and that they would correct the issues at the end of August 2022.
Then proceeded to sit on my stairs puffing on a vape without even asking if it was ok to smoke in my house .
He then told me he was going to send his grandsons round to see me . Really???
Spoke to the his daughter who now runs the business . What an absolute waste of time that was
If you want guaranteed work stay away from this company because they don’t honour their guarantees . Steer clear !

I can highly recommend using GCL Damp Proofing. I recently moved to a house with a large basement that GCL had tanked 28 years ago. I contacted Dennis, the owner of this family business for advice about how to convert one of the basement rooms into a laundry room. I was concerned about the effect of warm wet clothes and a steam iron on the atmosphere. They recommended insulating/plastering the room to stop any condensation from occurring as warm wet air met cold external walls.
I thought Dennis quoted a very reasonable price for a 19m2 room with 2.4m ceilings.

He also noticed some patches on the walls of the other basement rooms where the tanking had begin to break down (after 28yrs) and agreed to repair these free of charge under the 30 year guarantee. This is fantastic service.

Becky, Mo & Fred carried out the work over 6 days. They work diligently, communicate well and were a delight to have in our house. They have expert knowledge about basements and damp control.
