Had an exceptional service from Craig - he was honest, helpful, and informative. Brought two guitars to him, each with its own issues, and he quickly diagnosed the issues and offered simple, careful solutions. At no point did he try to offer me a service that he thought I didn't expressly need or want - really honest work. He kept me updated throughout the whole process, and did an extremely detailed, thorough job. My guitars have never sounded better. Thank you!

I will never take a guitar to anyone else,

I called one evening after buying an old Nippon Gakkai Yamaha FG-180 which needed some work and Craig invited me over right away. He expertly diagnosed the issues and spent a generous amount of time going over the options. I've just picked it up and it feels and sounds beautiful. Through various tweaks and gently graduated re-fretting he managed to lower the action and get rid of the buzzing. Others had told me the only way to do that would be a full neck reset. Craig's care and attention to detail is impeccable and he kept me informed throughout the process. Great price too!

Big thank you to Craig for his exceptional work on two of my acoustic guitars. From the first time we met I was incredibly impressed with the meticulous care taken to understand the issues from my perspective and to ensure I was happy with his work before I took the guitar away. Craig gave very clear explanations to ensure that I clearly understood the work he was carrying-out. Moreover, the initial consultation was very much a two-way conversation giving me the opportunity to confirm my understanding and agree to the work, before the work was started.

In short, very impressed with Craig's professional conduct and quality of work. The playability and condition of both my guitars were significantly improved.
