We are your local cat welfare charity serving the community in the Blackpool and Fylde area.
Our policy at the sanctuary is not to catch & cage but heal & home. The little orphans have safe, warm units with radio & TV. Our aim is to make our cats feel at home as possible. Our methods may seem eccentric but they work. Our cats are happy,healthy & our homing record is exceptional.
What started off as a personal passion for cats has now expanded to become a major cat welfare charity in this area. We have built and serviced the sanctuary primarily from our own finances, with the occasional boost from a handful of dedicated cat lovers. Now the time has come to reach out for help.
The only way to reduce the numbers of stray, feral & unwanted Cats & kittens is to neuter, therefore in addition to our sanctuary facilities we actively operate a neuter campaign. During 2007 we spearheaded the Cats Protection neuter campaign in this area.
in Dec 2010 we had achieved over 3000 neuters. This has only been possible by our own fund raising efforts and generous grants from Cats Protection.
