After spending £1400 with mark, the roof exactly still showing the same signs of damp and mark the so called professional could not understand what was wrong. I had someone who knows what they are doing come down and take a look and his repair was shocking. Would not recommend. Keep your money and find a professional.

My roof developed a leak (dripping in above one of the bedroom windows) during the very heavy rain in the summer. I contacted Furness Roofing and spoke to Mark who was friendly and professional. He came out and looked at the roof, took pictures and advised what the problem was. I was emailed a couple of quotes/repair options to choose. I chose one of these ands a few days later the scaffold was up and the the repair was done. There's been some heavy rain since and and the roof is now fine with no leaking. I received a good and affordable service from Furness Roofing and would be happy to recommend.

I would definitely recommend Mark and his team. The project was the rebuilding of my 150 year old roof with an area of around 180 sq metres. This was complicated by the roof being 3/4 Yorkshire stone and 1/4 slate, with valleys between elevations. Mark proposed a solution using as much of the original material as possible to preserve the appearance, industrial glass fibre to replace the perished lead in the valleys and high quality gutters to replace flimsy plastic. Fortunately the main timbers were sound but many of the laths had to be replaced. The chimneys also needed attention. Mark and his team were a pleasure to work with. They are professional, competent, hard working and courteous. I was kept informed of progress, any problems were quickl;y sorted out and the work was completed by the expected date. My wife was pleased with the attention to detail and tidiness. All together, a stress free experience with work to the highest quality. A roof to last another 150 years.
