Fun for Kids

Do not send your babies/toddlers here, very deceiving and underhand running of a nursery, owner/manager not even present most of the time (which then affects ratio of staff to children, ) unless she knows ofsted are due then rallies around under false pretences, high staff turnover , but owner will deny this as staff are treated appallingly , this is definitely not good quality childcare, be warned !

We were extremely happy with our son's childcare at Fun for Kids but a change of job meant a 10 mile journey each way so we decided to try a setting closer to home.
Unfortunately the new setting did not live up to the standards of Fun for Kids (it did not come any where close) and we couldn't find any other alternative settings that filled us with the same confidence as Fun for Kids.
We have decided that a 20 mile round trip each day is worth it and have returned as the level of care is outstanding.
I would recommend going to take a look or popping along to meet the manager, Jane, as I am sure you would draw the same conclusion.

My daughter started at Fun for kids when she was 8 months old (now 16 months) and she settled in very quickly with Jane who is a great childminder. A few months ago they moved to a bigger house which is fantastic - bright puzzle piece lino, funhouse mirrors and lots of fun in the garden including growing their own caterpillars and worms. My daughter loves it there and the children are polite and caring to each other. It is the perfect mix between a single childminder and a nursery - they have up to 3 childminders and up to about 15 kids so the children can play with a range of ages and learn from the bigger ones but also have space for the tiny ones to play quietly - my daughter loves the older ones and it has helped her be more confident. I would recommend Jane and Fun for kids to anyone

babaG came to fun for kids when he was 6 months old as i had to return to work. I was very unsure about the whole thing.
The first thing that put me at ease - the warm welcome into a family home setting.With the whole family involved in the care of the children. This comes so natuarally to all of them. BabaG has from the first time of being there always felt so comforable and part of the family. Fun 4 Kids is a place that you know they put your children first with love, care and attention. My babaG is now over 2 years old and there has not been one day he can't wait to go. He has just come back from a Zoo trip today with Fun for Kids. He greeted me with a huge smile and he had throughly enjoyed his day out with his friends and the crew/family from Fun for Kids.
From a helpful perspective as a working mum of 3 BabaG being my youngest. I have always found Fun for Kids if its possible to be supportive and flexible where and when necessary for me. This is very much apprieciated. Thank you Fun For Kids.

it was hard to leave my daughter with another person whilst i went to college but i am SO glad i choose FUN FOR KIDS they are lovely friendly people and my daughter has thrived since being there she is always happy to be going and there is always tears when it is home time, they have started visiting the local school to help the children settle in,
Jane is very helpful and will always help with any problem, they do school collections and drop of's i would recommend FUN FOR kids to anyone who want a home from home for their child/children.
