Solving my problem.

Referred to FTM Ltd by a Builder's Merchant, who claimed they carried a comprehensive stock of softwood battens. Sure enough, they had what I needed, which was not "Run-of-the-Mill Dimensions", ordered it from another branch and I was able to Pay & Collect, 3 days later - Thank you, Sam!
