Business Overview

Welcome to the Friendly Animal Clinic

We are a husband and wife team, Myles and Cheryl Holdsworth, who opened the Friendly Animal Clinic in September 2005 on Burnley Road, Sowerby Bridge at Tuel Lane Top, West Yorkshire. Having worked in various small animal /equine and farm practices we have brought our combined experience to our own veterinary surgery. The Friendly Animal Clinic is a purpose built veterinary clinic which includes modern facilities and excellent equipment allowing us to provide the highest standard of care for our patients. We cover our own out of hours/ emergency work so clients may be reassured that they will be seen at The Friendly Animal Clinic outside normal surgery hours if necessary.

Fantastic, caring professionals.
I went here based on word of mouth, I had previously gone to West Mount and found the service to be rather rushed and impersonal.

The Friendly Animal Clinic do it differently, They take great care and time to explain everything to you in detail. After just one visit they remembered my cats name each time I visited after.

Every other member of staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They make it seem less like a vets and make the ambience more comfortable. The building is conveniently located just 10 feet from the bus stop (serviced by the 590/592)

Every person I have talked to who goes here has the exact same opinion. They're a business that really care about animals over profit. My Cat went in for Microchipping and Neutering and it was somewhere around £65 for both, I have been twice since for other jabs and a passport to prepare him for travel and they checked he is healed properly both times.

Thank you very much for all your help!
