Great advice and saved me lots of money!

After many years of, what I would term problematic drinking, I finally decided to do something about it. Unfortunately, my GP was not able to assist me due to the way services are now provided in the community. Though she gave me the contact details for the local services they had a very long waiting list.
While very nervous, I picked up the phone and called. Paul was very reassuring and it turns out that that what I thought was a serious problem that needed a detox turned out not to be. Having read about AA it was not something that interested me so Paul explained about SMART.
Other companies I spoke to wanted to take £1,500 of me before they would help as they insisted I need a "home detox."
So glad I spoke to Paul. Am still attending SMART and still sober........

Don't be afraid to call.

I was desperate for information. My local drug and alcohol services had a very long waiting list and, while I appreciate they do their best, I needed information: fast. While I was hesitant to pick up the phone, I was glad that I did! Paul was very reassuring and gave me all the information I needed in order to make the right choices as to what to do. Before I called I was extremely anxious as to how much it was going to cost. Turns out it was nowhere near as expensive as I thought it was going to be.

Hi There Paul has been so helpful yesterday. Very helpful

When I spoke with Paul in January, it was the first step in exploring the possibility of residential care for my son. He had come to the point of recognizing that he was in need of such help to overcome dependence on alcohol. His dad and I had no prior experience of such services to draw on and we were keen to facilitate our son seeking help. Although January seems a long time ago now, I recall Paul was very helpful. He was sympathetic and easy to talk to as he took me through the process.
