So very impressed with the professional service from start to finish. Ben's knowledge and advice is second to none. Felt totally supported throughout the planning stages and Lee who built and installed the fire again was amazing. Now have a beautiful bespoke fireplace that has totally transformed the living room and is perfect for those cold winter nights.

Gas fire by Firetec

Three years ago, we noticed a beautiful gas fire in a St Ives restaurant & the owner explained that it was made by Dru. We decided to change from the open fire in our 1950 house to a modern gas fire. As we were doing a full renovation, we had the chimney removed. I rang gas fire installation stores in Plymouth and Firetec recommended a Dru fire. Ben visited and advised on a larger fire than we planned but the price was almost the same and good value.
Firetec arranged the installation by a gas fire installer and a builder who drilled the flu hole etc. They worked incredibly efficiently and installed the fire exactly as I wished in a wall mounted manner.
As ours is a Dru Global, it also needed a new chimney in the living room only and Firetec also advised on a plan and supplied the high temperature tolerant plasterboard.
Firetec arranged the installation by a gas fire installer and a builder who drilled the flu hole etc. They worked incredibly efficiently and installed the fire exactly as I wished in a wall mounted manner.
