I have known Claire for a long time. I needed a dress for my daughters wedding but was not able to find anything I liked online or in store. Then I realised I had the dress already hanging in my wardrobe which was my own wedding dress but over the years I had grown just a little and the dress wouldn't zip up. Took it to Claire who has successfully resized the dress and made it fit me perfectly again. I would definitely recommend Claire, the dress has been so skilfully altered to a very high standard.

Excellent service at a good price. Clare is extremely professional and obliging. Our bridesmaids’ dresses looked beautiful even after a long-distance plane, train and bus journey. Hidden pockets were included and a matching gentleman’s tie created at very short notice. Clare’s advice, ideas and help made the whole process easy.

Claire was a really friendly person who clearly knows her stuff when it comes to alterations and repairs and was reasonably priced. She did a fantastic job replacing an invisible zip on my dress and communication was great. Will definitely use her again for future jobs

Bad work conditions

Clare is a lovely lady. However I was not happy with leaving my wedding dress with her as her house was not the best. Cat hair everywhere, dirt and dust. It smelt strange and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the dress I would wear on my big day in that kind of environment as I didn’t want it covered in cat hair or to smell. If you don’t mind leaving your clothes in this environment then it’s perfect she is very lovely and skilled, it just wasn’t for me.

I took some clothes to Clare for a few alterations:
Ted Baker jeans taken up on the leg
Ted Baker Suit trousers let out at the waist
Ralf Lauren ladies Coat buttons repaired and re-attached
Mens winter coat buttons and cuff button replaced.

Clare did a fantastic job will all the repairs/alterations, had them ready in a matter of days and was extremely reasonably priced! I would defiantly recommend Clare to anyone needing clothing alterations and will be using her service again in the future.
