Appauling and dishonest...

Would not recommend. Foul mouthed and only care about money. I asked for a refund on a part that, after I examined it, told them would not fix my problem, and was told to try it anyway.

As suspected, the part didn't fix my problem, and when I asked for a refund, they refused to give me my money back, even though under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 I'm legally entitled to a full refund as the goods were not fit for purpose. Instead I got a credit note, which is no good since I won't be returning there again.

Now I'm having to waste time writing letters to Trading Standards, and may end up having to take this to small claims court for the sake of £15... It's ridiculous, I know, but that's my money, and they're not entitled to it.

Our policy clearly states in the reception that we offer no cash refund on wrong parts ordered on the customers behalf. All faulty parts on our behalf are exchanged or refunded in full.

Thanks for the reply 2.5 years later. I had no idea you even had a reception, so that was stated about as clearly as if you'd had it written inside your underpants... I asked your guys for some advice and explained the problem. One of your guys was certain that the problem would be rectified with a replacement indicator stem. I told him that I doubted it and would like to compare mine to the replacement. As I'd suspected, it didn't have any less wear on it than mine did. However, your guy encouraged me to try it anyway, so out of courtesy, I handed over the cash as a deposit and went and tried it. After all, what was to stop me walking off-site with it? So, when I returned and said "Yes, just as I suspected, it didn't fix the problem", your guy handed me a piece of paper which he claimed was "as good as cash". I fitted the part on the advice of one of your colleagues, and because he was wrong and I was right, I'm down £15. You had every opportunity to make it right and chose not to.
