Work not up to scratch.

In 2103 I paid £14,835.60 to have two flat roofs completely re-done on a property in Shirley Southampton. I received a 20 year guarantee. In early 2015 the main roof was leaking so we called Mr Rob Lamb to come and fix it. He not only claimed this was not his fault (after all we had only spent £15k!) but then sent me an invoice for the call out to check. Though it was his roof work! In late 2016 the other roof he fitted started leaking. I contacted Mr Lamb again, admittedly with no great expectation, but before he had even gone to see it he said he would raise another invoice to inspect the problem. Untrustworthy Tradesman - would check reviews online in future.

Wrong Lock Fitted, Unable To Remove & Encountered Verbal Abuse From Locksmith When Asking Him To Remove Lock. Really Bad, Unprofessional Communication.

This was an emergency call late on a Friday, this door to this ex council flat had been smashed in and the property was in a bad state of repair and was extremely dirty,we contacted the letting agent as this was a specialist lock and would not be available for several days, they advised us to fit a 5 lever high security dead lock and new handles, the property was left in a secure condition, after several months this landlord returned to property and had many complaints about the condition of property then contacted ourselves and insisted we should change this lock back to the original but he was not prepared to pay for any of these works and he started putting our company down and was very aggressive on the phone and threatened to take me to court,I have not heard a thing since,we recommend any tradesman to be very careful if this landlord should ever contact them.

The property agents who were meant to be fully managing the property (who have since shut down) had no right to call you as you are not a qualified locksmith. You are "Handyman," who entered the property without legal authority, luckily Hampshire has a master locksmith (a qualified professional) who came out on an emergency call and was able to replace the faulty lock you fitted at less than two-thirds your cost.
