I can't give you 6 stars - sorry! From the initial call to Chris I was kept informed of the progress. I was phoned by Chris who explained the reason for the one days delay. The guys turned up early - always a good omen and analysed the issue. I was informed that I required a set of new cables. I was quoted a price straight away and the job was completed very quickly and effectively. I was...impressed with how courteous the guys were - left with an invoice and paid it promptly by on-line banking.

My garage door failed to open last Thursday evening. I rang Chris the following morning and got a positive response and verbal offer for replacement of the motor. On Saturday morning I received an email quotation and indication that the work could be done today (Thursday) or tomorrow. Yesterday I got a confirmation that the fitters would come this morning, as indeed they did. They efficiently replaced the motor and adjusted the door operation in only 80 minutes. It's now working perfectly. They were pleasant, considerate and helpful.

The price was acceptable, the communication was good, the job was properly done as far as I know (time will tell) and, best of all, from door failure to remedy took only a week. Another company I contacted offered 2 weeks and a third didn't even bother to quote, despite assuring me they would!

I was impressed with the company's customer service, useful information and response time and have no hesitation in recommending Express Garage Doors.
