Went in with what sounded like a potential diesel injector failure on my van and when I got the telephone call from them the next day expecting the worst. It was great news They had diagnosed a split pipe which they replaced and they then ran a few cleaning products through it and it was sorted.
would highly recommend them as they do a great job at a very fair price.

I was recommended to Excel many years ago after complaining bitterly about being ripped off the main dealer, and I have not even thought about going anywhere since. You get friendly honest advice from experienced mechanics. No problem can't be solved. They only do work which is needed, and charge a very fair price. I trust them absolutely.

Excellent service. They have honesty and integrity and will always only do what is necessary, and to a high standard. I have found them to be better than my dealer's mechanics, and far far cheaper.

Dave and the team at excel are still the only garage I try to use despite moving to the other side of the country.

They are always helpful, approachable, never look irritated when you turn up unannounced and always try to give you the best price possible. They are happy to explain what the problem is and good at translating for the non mechanic.

They have saved the day numerous times for my family and our collection of cars, often at short notice.

Having moved around the country and experienced multiple garages (before I found excel) I am confident in expressing that excel are a cut above the rest.
