I am a member of the Oil Firing Technical Association OFTEC and a registered technician able to service, commission and repair all types of oil fired pressure jet heating appliances
Safety of the boiler is of utmost importance, OFTEC standards and regulations are changing all the time, so when I call to service your appliance I will inform you of any changes needed to improve safety of the appliance or the oil storage tank.
Regular servicing will extend the life of your boiler.
It may be a condition of your house insurance that you have adequate fire protection (remote firevalve) and that if you make a claim your insurance may well be void or you are not covered, check your policy.

It is recommended by OFTEC that all oil boilers require a full service every 12 months (Kerosene 28 second), in order to:
