I don’t know who I spoke to on the phone but such a rude hostile man! I find it hard to give a 5* review. I have had work done by them before, some fantastic workers some not. But on this occasion… what a disappointment!! Whoever this man is he certainly needs to work on his customer service skills!!

We encountered several minor problems during our new boiler fitting, including messy pipework which has just been left. Some of the other problems were rectified, but the service overall was unprofessional and very disappointing. I would not recommend this company.

Professional service from start to finish. I went with this company as they have been established at least 15 years that I know of. Didn't bother getting any other quotes.

I had a new boiler fitted in October 2015 by Essex Maintenance and thought I'd see how it performed over the Winter before writing a review. The fitter arrived on time and took approx 4 - 5 hours working hard dissembling old boiler and fitting the new one, an Ideal Vogue, which is the main one the co. fit, and also Ideal's 'flagship' boiler. His boss came in to see how fit was proceeding and all fine. It has performed very well over the winter, quick to heat the radiators, works quietly, simple to use including timer. Price for the boiler, parts and fit was approx £2000 if I recall, about average, but includes 10 year warranty. I would recommend the boiler and Essex Maintenance. Just two minor negatives, the fitter should have put more dust sheets down as some masonry stuck in the carpet after drilling. And boiler wasn't put on the wall straight, it slopes a bit, but fortunately it's not often looked at front facing.

Really pleased with this company. Roof looks great and they were really professional
