Our location
Business overview
A great little place for dinner with a few friends or a romantic candlelit encounter
Essenza is a small and intimate Italian restaurant with a stylish and contemporary interior, located in the heart of Notting Hill Gate, London.
The mandarin coloured banquettes, the wood grain panelling, the candle light tables and the small backlit bar makes it smart without being overly designer.
The menu features dishes from all regions of Italy, we choose the best recipes to match the seasonal offerings. We take pride in choosing genuine ingredients from Italy whenever possible, to create fresh, tasty and beautifully presented food as if we where in Italy.
The wines are carefully selected to complement the food menu and are sourced from most regions throughout Italy.
We are proud to be the sister restaurant of Osteria Basilico and Mediterraneo Cucina Italiana both long established Italian restaurants and also situated in Kensington Park Road, W11.
Service comes with a twinkle. In short: chic and cheerful. Time Out, London

Reviews
Lovely Italian restaurant
4Best beer and fries around
5Great but expensive italian food
4The food was amazing! We had Calamari and scallops for starters which were perfectly cooked. The Tiramisu was exceptional. Our waiter had a bad day. He spilled some water and brought the wrong dish. Better to book on a friday evening.
