Hi, my names Karen and I am based in Rostrevor south Down just outside of Newry, but cover all Ireland. I specialise in wedding photography and include a prefect combination of the both the beautifully posed and capturing the moment images. I also cover family portraits with my "thing" being outdoor shoots to capture the true essence of a family.

Can’t recommend Karen enough, she is so easy going and down to earth and helped our wedding day go by in a flash!! Our pictures seemed effortless, having Karen photograph our day was just like having another friend there!! LOVE LOVE LOVE our dvd of photos we received and I cannot wait to get our album, thanks so much again :)

I have used Essence Photography on a number of occasions, and have never been disappointed. Karen has done photos of my children, my family, dog and my wedding. Each setting was amazing and I love every photo, especially my wedding albums. They captured my special day perfectly.
