A fun and challenging weapons based martial art
Escrima Concepts is a martial art for adults that uses a variety of weapons, unarmed and more.
Don't worry if you have never done any kind of martial art before, we have friendly patient instructors who will teach you from scratch. We welcome anyone who is willing to learn.
Safety is our top priority and as a beginner we will teach you the basics of movement, structure and footwork with no speed or power.
As you progress you will learn to gradually increase your speed and power in a controlled method without injuring yourself or your training partner.
There's no contract, you only pay for when you train, and we offer great value for money.
If you are still unsure, we offer a month of free training to give you a chance to sample our classes, obligation free.

Jason Orriss - Instructor
Jason has been training in Escrima Concepts since 2007, and is a Technician Grade (Black Belt), and has been teaching Escrima Concepts since 2013
Aletha Harman - Instructor
Aletha has been training in Escrima Concepts since 2010, and has the honour of being the UK's first female Technician Grade (Black Belt) in Escrima Concepts.
