End Cottage Kennels

We left our Portuguese Water Dog Paloma here while we had a few days away and the service was exceptional the owners and staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming to us and Paloma. We felt at ease leaving our dog with them without any worries. On collection this evening our initial feelings at drop off were completely accurate. Paloma came out full of energy (which has continued at home) in excellent condition, and honestly didn’t look like she wanted to leave. Seeing our nearly nine year old dog full of life and energy was amazing. We highly recommend End Cottage Kennels and won’t be taking Paloma or any of our future dogs anywhere else!

Our little Shih tzhu/maltese cross seemed to enjoy herself at these kennels. We took her there in May for her first stay. When we picked her up she was playful and happy and smelt lovely! They have neat little individual rooms for the dogs, and a bed off the floor (we still took her usual bed) and they put that on the bed. The rooms are clean and fresh. Teddy got a lot of walks and even though she ate well whilst she was at the Kennels she lost a little bit of weight, which was a good thing as she is little bit overweight. The staff were really friendly. We have booked her in again in August this year, and we have already booked her in for August next year as they get booked up. It is slightly on the small side (not too many rooms), which for us is ideal. But due to the size you could struggle to get a space if you don't give plenty of notice. It costs slightly more than other kennels we have used in the past but as the kennels are so nice we are happy to pay.

Helen is the owner and kennel hand of the business. It took along time to find an owner who puts 100% into there work. A lot of Love and pride goes into the care of the dogs. a very safe and secure out building with proper rooms with TV and heating single and double rooms. The double can hold more than one dog ideal for larger family. I have two European Doberman. End Cottage offer proper care to my dogs as Helen has knowledge of this breed which you do not get at the other boarders. I feel my dogs are safe and secure with Helen and i can relax and enjoy the time away from my girls. I have used End Cottage a number of times now. My girls coats shine when I collect them and are happy and healthy. I would not use anybody else. Thank you Helen for taking such care of Azh and Binx they adore you and when there happy I am Happy

We recently used these kennels for our boxer dogs. We found them to be the best kennels that we have used to date as our dogs could stay together in the double room. We would certainly use End Cottage Kennels again and recommend them to our friends.
