The homeless charity that works
Emmaus Sheffield is South Yorkshire's first such community; a place where people who were formerly homeless will find somewhere safe and welcoming to live; a place where they can rediscover their dignity and self-pride through being part of a working community geared towards becoming self-sufficient through social enterprise.
Take some time to look around our website, check out our community shop, where we sell a fantastic range of recycled household goods, including furniture, bric-a-brac, records, cd's, dvd's, books, electrical goods, bicycles and much more. Don't forget to have a look at our fantastic new vintage clothes shop, La Boutique!
We also offer a range of services such as garden and grounds maintenance and a full PAT testing service, all of which are fantastic value for your home or business.
Why don't you also take this chance to get to know us a little, we have a fantastic community, full of great people, you'll be amazed at what we do!

Reviews
Honest and reliable.
5They turned up On time to collect goods and even returned to collect more items.
We cannot say this about some other charities.
It is a fantastic charity which gives so much to the community. We would not hesitate to support them.
Always friendly and helpful when we visit the shop.
Cannot fault them.
Keep up the good work.
They are chaotic & a waste of time to deal with. It is easier to throw the items out.
1The management is chaotic.
When the lads come, they don't phone first (as agreed), so you have to wait in a 1/2 day.
A couple of lads have been on the rude side.
The van can book up to 6 weeks in advance for collections - as the driver isn't working or they are using it for deliveries.
I've come to the conclusion that it is easier to throw out items than call Emmaus.
