House rebuild and extension5
Our home is now complete, and we are very happy with it. This was our first major house project, so we relied very heavily on Sean guiding us through each step. Highly recommended!
Total confidence in this company.5
I am now living in a wonderful home, that he has helped create. I would recommend them.
Highly recommended architectural and project management services, attuned to our needs5
Prepared to support us as clients where (unusually) builders' or sub-contractors' work below standard. Flexible where our thoughts havered/developed during the process.
Sean's knowledgeable and charming PA was very good on monitoring emails, keeping us aware of developments and up dated on issues (eg his likely turnround time allowing for other projects, availability for meetings) so managing our/ but responding to expectations appropriately.
We particularly appreciated Sean's attention to detail and ability to project manage the job (for which we thought his fees were very reasonable) on our behalf. It was helpful that he could draw on the skills of structural engineers with whom he regularly works.
Responsive and constructive architectural practice5
After speaking with several architects about our house renovation, remodelling and extension project we decided Sean Macmillan had the best understanding of our initial ideas. Working with Sean has been a very good experience, giving us the confidence to invest in our home. Sean dealt with the inevitable challenges along the way with thoughtful solutions and have helped us realise our vision for a comfortable home, designed to meet our needs.

I had a very helpful call the next day. We arranged a home based provisional meeting and then agreed a full survey with plans. The initial one hour consultation was free which is very good value for no money! To date we have made good progress and feel very optimistic about our project.

I was recommended to use your practice by a friend who works in the building trade and whose colleague spoke well of you. I was very happy with the service provided and the outcome and was reassured by your supervision of the construction works.
