Ellmans

It's December 4th and I've had a hole in the bedroom where my chimney fell in two weeks ago. No one has contacted me to repair the hole in two weeks. It's freezing cold. The 2ft x 1ft hole goes straight outside. There is a constant draft. I'm running the heating on high constantly. There was absolutely no empathy or urgency when I called their office last week to see why no one has gotten in touch with me to deal with this. It's inhuman.
Letting agents are notoriously callous but this is simply inhumane.

Haven't had any heating since February 11th 2021 (It's currently 24/07/2021/). Boiler has just broken and leaked over all of our possessions, no emergency contact details available to help. DO NOT USE ELLMANS. THEY HAVE NO REGARDS FOR THEIR TENANTS.

No Roof Repairs being done, no block redecoration, Moment Frame Rotted, Fireman came out, where is Survey, Filthy Communal Ways I am cleaning now, Never been cleaned to anything but a sub human standard, AND IN COVID SO DANGEROUS.

We know you did a runner on a block and ''streamlined'' and cleaned out their maintenance fund, and a poor tenant did a review on 2nd June 2021 this weekend that he gave up like this other guy see ALLGENTS REVIEWS ELLMANS and let you keep his holding deposit. We have been screamed at, abused, lied to, silenced by saying all we can do is contact you by post now. Mimi is always working remotely or on vacation or on sick leave, Clive Perry told us to move out and go away. Mags shouted at me and said Go For It re 1st Tier Tribunal and Property Chamber. You get away with it as the majority of the block are inhabited by tenants.

I am a local landlord whose sole aim is to keep my property in an excellent state of repair and to keep my tenants happy - they stay longer this way which is obviously good for both parties. I have had experience of many local managing agents and I can honestly say that the team for Ellmans are the most professional, efficient and friendly I have come across. The owner, Clive, has endless experience and goes out of his way to always provide sensible, lawful and helpful information and advice, he is also the most approachable of men, friendly and generous with his time. Of course sometimes things go wrong but over the last ten years Ellmans have worked tirelessly to make sure that my flats are kept to a high standard and my tenants are kept happy.
PS. I have absolutely no connection with the business, I am simply a very happy customer.

Beware Ellmans as it is now known as it is a VERY unprofessional managing agents that creates problems and then use the tenants hard-earned maintenance money to pretend solve them. In our case, once they had emptied the maintenance fund they then claimed they were "streamlining" their business so no longer wished to 'manage' our block. Good riddance but they have left us with a fire alarm system that is not fit for purpose so we will be reporting them to the local Council for putting tenants lives at risk! Hopefully, Ellmans will one day be so streamlined that they no longer exist...
