Elkington Timber Floor Restoration

We are in the process of decorating & re-carpeting our house throughout. But 47 years have taken their toll on the floors.
John Elkington took the job on a short notice and did an outstanding job. He was flexible with his schedule fitting in with our other contractors.

After 20+ years the wood floor looked really tired , worn , scared . Looked at replacing which was working out very expensive ( it is whole downstairs and hall way knocked thru into one ) local builder suggested try John Elkington - best advice in years. Came looked , discussed options , gave good quote. Arrived on time with crew and equipment did great work sanding old boards with really impressive equipment and minimal mess , showed me 3 colour option on my actual wood , stained and coated the whole area. Everyone who came to see it was really very impressed as am I . Great work at fair price.

Carried out a first class repair, at a very reasonable cost, to an engineered timber floor which two other "expert companies" had said could not be repaired - they were both happy to remove the old floor and fit a new one at considerable expense ! I highly recommend them and would certainly use. them again
