RUDEST, UNHELPFUL SWITCHBOARD STAFF
1Phoned for a taxi for a man who was lost and cold who asked for my help to get home. Phoned for a taxi for the switchboard woman to tell me she wasn’t sending a taxi as they do not pick up from bus stops to tell him to get a bus. 1. It was at night so hardly any buses. 2. It was freezing and the man was lost and far away from his home. 3. We are in a global pandemic aren’t we suppose to be kind to people? I explained the man was lost and was quite far from his home. She then asked to speak to the man and I told him he was deaf in which she laughed down the phone and told me she definitely wasn’t sending a taxi and hung up. Ridiculous. So unhelpful, rude and a terrible attitude. Get better, more helpful staff.
