Ludicrous situation

The most ludicrous comment I have ever heard. "We cannot email you a blank form as we don't have a secure email server". why do you need one? it's a blank form with no personal or sensitive information on it.....until I fill it out. Pretty difficulty to "just pop in" when you live 350 miles away and you 87-year-old father is in hospital. Thanks for your help.

Busy Surgery

This is an extremely busy surgery that is struggling to recruit good GPs. As usual budgets are being stretched to almost breaking point. Yes it can be hard to get an appointment, but I must confess they've always been able to see me when needed. Staff are as helpful as they can be. It's the governments fault that the NHS is suffering. This practice does the very best it can with what it has.

Shocking.

Used to be a great Surgery. Been a patient (with, thankfully, few visits) for many years - as have the wife and four children. Get this. Wife makes a visit on the Thursday. Told, by the locum Doctor, to return the following Monday for blood tests. Can't get in Monday. Or Tuesday. So I visited them to ask whether a Nurse can carry out the blood tests. Yes. But, actually, no - because there are no notes on the file stating which bloods are needed. Whilst there I referred to wife's inability to obtain an appointment. Yes, we only have two Doctor's on duty. For a Surgery this size (patient count) how many should you have, I asked. Seven. Like I said, it used to be a great Surgery. How can it now be anything other than next to useless if 100% of patients are being "cared" for by 28.57% of the required number of Doctor's ? I wonder if they're playing politics down there ? One star ? The review wouldn't go with zero star's. Stay healthy.
