My daughter suggested using ETS after her nice experience with them. They fixed a minor fault with her car Free-Of-Charge. About a year or so later I also had a minor fix FOC. Recently I had my car serviced with them. As my servicing history is on-line they provided me with a Service Record Booklet so I have a hard-copy of my service history. I also asked if they could re-set my service interval to be 2 yearly (to save on servicing). They could have very easily said that they didn't manage to do this, but they did. Will definitely use ETS again.

I’ve Been Using ETS at Ashby for a Few Years. I’ve always found their Prices Very Competitive. They are Honest, Polite and Hard Working Lads. I’ve never had a problem In all the years I’ve been using them and I can’t fault The Work they’ve Done for Me.
Today, I went to have New Tyres and The Tracking Done. They Ordered them in for me and rang me up at Hone when they arrived and booked an appointment for me to have them fitted. While I was waiting for My Work to be done, I was having a Free Drink from out of The Drinks Machine that I was offered by Mark Although He was Busy, He Still found time to talk to me and answer a few questions that I asked him. I found Out from Talking to Mark that they do MOT’s and Services, I didn’t Know that. So Now, I’m going to have Our Car’s MOT and a Full Service At ETS Ashby Next month (August) when They are Due.

Rip off merchants

Tried to charge my girlfriend double for a starter motor, £450 in total including labour. £210 was a fair price. He (Mark) price matched in the end after confronting but how many people are and have paid double without saying anything. It's disgusting and will never use again, just another typical rip off mechanics when all you want is a fair price and a bit of decency. Commision is all they care about is my guess!! Bleed you dry if you let them.

Dear Phill We're obviously concerned about your comments. We initially quoted on a premium quality starter motor and based the job on 2 hours labour as from experience we knew that this job would take longer than the 1 hour estimated on "Autodata" (a site used by automotive professionals). When you returned with lower quotes on cheaper starter motors & which were most likely based on the suggested 1 hours labour we did agree to price match the job, in order to keep your custom and agreed £275 in total which you decided to go ahead with. We find your comments confusing as, although you say you would never use us again, you have used our branch for tyres and wheel alignment since this job was carried out. We always believe in pricing fairly and feel that for the quality of service and work undertaken we price very competitively, give honest advice and have a policy of ensuring there are no hidden extras. Poor and sub standard.

Unfortunately my experience of ETS is very poor.
The technician servicing my rear brakes reassembled them incorrectly. My son collected the car and when he tried to brake at an intersection, the brakes failed. Luckily there were no cars approaching as he shot through the intersection.
ETS had the car back to correct the fault, with no offer of compensation except a set of tyres at the same price as Kwikfit.
It was apparent that ETS had failed to correct the fault, which was discovered a couple of months later when the rear brakes may or may not have failed as I approached a sharp bend and the car left the road. An independent inspection revealed that the rear brakes were still not assembled correctly and were not working at all.
I took this further, and after a lot of hassle, got a refund of some of my costs.
Pretty poor I would say!!

Dear Tim We would like to respond to your claims. You initially had rear brake shoes fitted on the 29th July 2017. Whilst our technician assembled them correctly, he failed to bleed the brake system fully which meant your brake pedal was low & soft, this was rectified straight away. It was 4-5 months later in December that you informed us that your car had left the road on the sharp bend; temperatures at the time were -7C with extreme snow & ice on the roads. As we explained back in December, as your brakes had been working well for 4-5 months prior to this we would naturally conclude that the accident was not caused by inefficient brakes but by the extreme & treacherous weather conditions. You said at the time you were very happy with how this had been dealt with and resolved. We are sorry that nearly a year later you have chosen to leave this review but we genuinely feel it was handled in both a professional & understanding manner. Kind regards Eden Tyres & Servicing

Used this garage as the Mill Garage had closed and i saw that the manager at ETS was from the Mill. Had two MOTs done, great prices, friendly staff, booked vehicles in same day. Will always use and recommend to all.
