I have always wanted to learn to play the piano. Last year at the age of 53 and with very limited musical knowledge or ability, I found that I was in a position to do so. I contacted Enrique and since then have had a lesson almost every week. He is very patient, relaxed and encouraging. It is fortunate that he does not subscribe to one style of teaching. He is able to suggest alternative ways for me to approach a piece if I am getting frustrated, as is often the case, with my inability to 'get it right'. At my taster session on our first meeting, he asked what I wanted to achieve and what style of music I wanted to play. As a result he has never put me under any pressure to take exams as that was never my aim. I just want to learn to play the piano and there is no doubt Enrique is making this long held dream a reality. Thank you Enrique for all your patience and long may it continue. Dizzy

Enrique has been tutoring my 13 year old daughter for around 5 years now. He makes her lessons fun as well as instructive. He always makes sure she is well prepared and ready for both her theory of music and practical piano exams. He has currently helped her achieve grade 3 theory of music and she is working towards grade 2 practical piano at present. He is always professional but still able to pitch the lesson at the correct level for my child. I highly recommend Enrique as a Tutor.

I hadn't touched a musical instrument since school, which is longer ago than I care to remember. I'd always fancied having a go at keyboard, and found Enrique through this site. He is very patient and helpful, showing me where I am going wrong and very encouraging when I get it right. With his help I am progressing more quickly than I thought, and look forward to our sessions.

Enrique helped my son to pass his theory and practical exam a record short time. My son now enjoys learning piano and practicing to the next level with great interest.

Enrique has been tutoring me for a good couple of years now, and with his help I was able to pass my grade 7 piano exam. What makes him distinct from other tutors is his passion for playing the piano. I remember one of my biggest difficulties with piano being sight reading, but Enrique taught me how to overcome this by following a simple process. During and after each lesson, he gives constructive advice on where I could improve, which helps in refining various piano skills. Overall, his lessons are well constructed and organised, and with his help, I am hoping to work towards my grade 8 exam.
