Poor service!

Unfortunately i've had a very poor experience with this company.
It was a simple job of replacing the heat element in a water tank. But they managed to crack the tank, failed to drain the tank properly and that caused a leak through the ceiling.
They took absolutely no responsibility. The tank was only 8 years old, still under guarantee and a water soften was fitting in the house.
I had to pay for a new tank, the redecoration costs and to go without hot water for weeks!
Very poor service! I will not be using them again.

You was informed before carrying out work that the hot water cylinder could easily fracture while changing the element. This does not often happen but you was made aware of it and it was document on the quote before work was carried out. Unfortunately it was one of them few cases where this happened. You was aware and you accepted this risk when we quoted the work. This was not caused by our engineers carrying out the work but it may have been a previous plumbers fault using the incorrect compound to fit the existing immersion heater. It could also be caused by normal wear and tear as the tank was 8 years old and there was evidence of the element had been replaced on a previous occasion. You did not complain when you thought your insurance company was going to pay for the work. You then turned your attention onto my company when insurance did not pay. Whilst you was making your decision over many weeks your tenant had no hot water.

I have been using EBAC since 2015 for boiler servicing and more recently replacement bedroom radiators. I have found Andy and his team consistently excellent. They have always been accommodating fitting me in and I have been impressed with how respectful and tidy they are. I was recommended them by an electrician and I'm so pleased I have found them as their standard of work is excellent.

An employee came to the house, we went over the work that needed doing. That was the last I seen or heard from him. Been over a month and still awaiting a quotation.
Obviously I have gone elsewhere now
