Scammer! Do NOT trust

Worst driving instructor I have ever met! He pretended to be nice at the start then started playing games and kept teaching me the wrong things on purpose so that I keep taking more lessons. also a couple of times he tried to cut our driving sessions by half an hour, hoping I would forget and not ask for the money/time back!

When I knew i was ready, I applied to do my practical test and he started telling me I shouldn't and that I will fail, and if I go to the test they will take his licence away! More lies. Then he blackmailed me and told me if I don't cancel it he wont come with me, he didn't turn up and I had to get another instructor last minute.

Unprofessional and clearly scams his students. Please avoid!

I was with smart learner for more than 16 hr. I took the test and failed . The instructor told me I just wanted to find your self that you are not ready. He said you need 12 additional hr the you may be ready to another test. Moreover , he told me strange thing after the test (if I marked you test instead the examiner I would give you 8 serious instead two, she just doesn't want to break you harshly you are already failed). I think this not correct and the examiner should give you feedback and mark all your mistakes at least to help you in fixing it .Then I realised I need another instructor for saving time and money. I found driving academy online. I after 1hr practice, I found that he is good instructor and he is very positive. I took additional 3 hrs the I passed the test.

I ve' had that experience, smart learner are crap, they are just after money, they never satisfy , always requesting for more lessons. also with skyblue, avoid both driving schools, skyblue goes to sleep while you are driving, he does not teach you anything he has short sight and wakes up and screem at you that you are going the wrong way, I had a very experience, I should report them to DVSA for investigation. be careful out there!

Highly recommended!!!

I took lessons with Driving Academy after a very disappointing experience with Smart Learner.
I already had good 6 years of driving experience and just wanted practice with the roundabouts and manoeuvres for the test. I started taking lessons with the other school, but to my disappointment we didn't do that!!!
6 days before my exam I called Driving academy. The instructor was very accommodating and agreed to give me lessons. He was very patient and listened to my requirements. I took a total of 4 lessons and cleared my exam in first attempt, with only 4 minor faults and the examiner even complimented at the end of the test that 'it was a very good drive'.
All the lessons were tailored according to what I needed to practice. What's more the instructor took me to Nuneaton roundabouts where I had never been with the other school!
We even practiced all the manoeuvres just before the test which helped. The instructors have over 18 yrs of experience and it shows in the way they teach.
Don't be attracted by flashy cars and big names, if you want your money's worth go for instructors who can instil confidence.
