I passed my driving test today with the help of Melissa (Mel.)

We have been doing lessons together for almost a year and i have never met such a kind hearted soul. Mel is the most amazing, productive snd supportive driving instructor a student could ask for (not to mention she loves a good conversation.)

I could never have passed my test if it wasn’t for the support and motivation Mel had given me. Every lesson Mel taught me was very productive and we made alot of progress! I passed with 4 minors.

I decided to take some refresher driving lessons before my return to work after maternity leave. I had lost confidence and was really nervous but was determined to get back to driving.
I saw the excellent reviews for Driver Skills and got in touch. My instructor was Dave and he was brilliant with me. I felt at ease and my confidence improved really quickly. I have been back to work for a while now and I drive to Sunderland and back every day, with no issues. Seems like a small thing for some, but for me it's massive. I am so grateful for Dave's patience and calming influence. Highly recommended, especially for nervous drivers.

Thanks so much to Dave, you were a really great driving instructor. I'd recommend Driver Skills North East to anyone. I had put off learning to drive for a while as it made me really nervous, but I passed first time today and wasn't nervous at all.

I learnt to drive an automatic in one week and passed my test first time, and I think Dave was the best instructor to get me through that. He was so calm and funny in lessons which made learning to drive enjoyable and I feel confident in the skills he has given me! Sarah in the office is also absolutely lovely and really helpful. Very highly recommend this company.

I originally began with a different instructor but moved onto Dave. He made me feel so much more confident and actually allowed me to learn how to drive independently! I thoroughly enjoyed learning to drive and feel like I now have a very strong skill that I can keep for life, and would recommend him to anyone!
