Why book an intense course as in my experience you don’t get offered what you paid for as there are very few tests available..My son had a great driving instructor who actually taught him to drive in 1 week. I have no issues about the quality of instruction received. The issue is it’s been nearly 4 weeks since he finished and still has not been offered a test. Due to his career and training he can only do a test at a weekend now and this is proving impossible. Lisa takes no responsibility and just blames the DVSA. I have text her numerous times to which she will reply almost immediately but just likes to blame the DVSA and how they are not fit for purpose. My son had a test booked 2 days before actually finishing his course,, but was given incorrect information and was told that his test was on the last day of his course. Due to this miscommunication he was never given the opportunity to sit it. This isn’t what we signed up to . This intense course cost us just over £1700.,

I completed my lessons in 6 days and passed my test the following week. The training was relaxed, friendly and to a high standard. I would definitely recommend to anyone learning how to drive !

Dreadful communication

Overall experience with my instructor was good. Paid and finished my manual course… FIVE MONTHS LATER the ‘company’ has made no efforts to keep in communication or update me to show they are actively looking for my test. After contacting my instructor, a few weeks after I had finished the original course, to organise booking more lessons he told me he no longer worked for Drive intensive and I should have been contacted about this. Since, I have rang both numbers available on the website and sent several emails. Repeatedly being told they are ‘looking for a test’ yet regularly post on their social media of their students passing.
Before booking I was advised about the difficulty in finding practical tests which is completely understandable! Yet they allege: ‘ we aim to secure a driving test either at the end of your course, or shortly afterwards.’
All I require is a practical test refund which shouldn’t take more than a few working days to send and process!

I have this morning gone through all communication from you. At no time have we not responded. I also note that you had to retake the theory test after your course which would of held things up as we cannot book a driving test if the theory is out of date. You also state you needed to book more lessons so you were not ready for a driving test. You were also emailed the day after we found out about your instructor. You emailed on Saturday 2nd knowing you would not get a reply as we were closed and then proceeded to put a review on that is not completely true. You requested a refund of test fee and this was done within the 30days as per our T&Cs. Going back to communication, we have responded to you every step of the way and whilst you have instigated this contact, we would of course contact you directly if we had any further updates. Finally As you needed more hours and had to do your theory again a test could not be booked for the end of your course.
