Called them out this morning , appeared1 hour later and cleared toilet blockage in a few minutes. At £150 it seems a bit expensive but I know the jetting equipment can cost £10 k. Overall excellent and will use them again.

Really bad experience. Guy quoted £90 on phone to jet drain. No discussion of hour rate. When he arrived I told him bathroom drain was blocked. He jetted down a random drain that wasn’t actually filtering directly in to bathroom, but which sent all the waste round the junction clearing a kitchen drain which wasn’t causing us a problem, and making the blockage in the bathroom drain much worse. He spent ages coming up with nonsensical theories about why he couldn’t jet the bathroom drain, including a barmy explanation that he thought the bathroom filtered in to a different septic tank, which it definitely doesn’t. It was really just because he had run out of water, which he admitted, and he couldn’t now jet the problem drain. He then tried to charge me £180 saying He told me on the phone it was £80 an hour, which he didn’t. I paid him £90. But now I’m £90 down and am worse off for drainage than I was before he got here. Overall I felt this service was incompetent and dishonest.

We called Draintek in to investigate a problem smell which we have had, off and on, for the past four years. They checked the drawings, did a thorough investigation inside and outside the house, identified the problem and resolved it in four hours. The lads were efficient, friendly and courteous and obviously knew their business. I would use them again and would certainly recommend them. Thanks lads.
