I received a text saying my parcels been delivered safely, unfortunately it had not been delivered to my front door ,it was left at the rear of my address at a communal door available to anybody, also it was frozen items and started to defrost.

Great lie of not being available

This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I got a message of my delivery window for today. The driver did not make any attempt to reach me. I only got a message of me not being available to collect my parcel. No means of contacting the driver not dpd customer care to know what happened.

I greatly regret using dpd for my delivery

Awful company

The absolute worst couriers going. I have had nothing but hassle every time I expect a parcel from them.
I either see the van pull up outside my house repeatedly day after day then drive away informing me I've missed them. Or even stranger, take a photo of the outside of my house while I'm in and tell me I missed them. I'm baffled as to why he didn't knock. If he got as far as my house, why not get out the van and deliver it? Why lie saying people aren't in when they don't even attempt to knock?

absolutely pathetic delivered to wrong address customer service completely useless the driver even took a photo but again wrong house so I am 50 quid down NEVER DPD AGAIN
