Great service and good value for money
Tumble dryer heater stopped working. Called this company and was told the call-out would be £40 + VAT which covered all labour for the job, any parts required were chargeable extra. Engineer attended as arranged and fixed the problem. Very satisfied with the prompt and inexpensive service.

Problem after problem
I received a my first visit with an engineer. My washing machine had a puddle in the drum. The engineer said the problem was that it was blocked. So he said it's been fixed and left, I got 2 washes through it. However, the horrendous roar the washing machine gave. Sounded like the thing was about to blow. Immediately I asked for a recall and they got someone back a couple days later whilst I was at work. They said parts must be ordered, so after 8 days they had the parts and booked me in for an appointment. I wasn't present when they "fixed" the problem. This being their 3rd visit to my property. I have an abundance of washing needing done. As soon as I got home I tried to work the washing machine and to my surprise it wasn't working. I tried to call the company at 1730 and the office was closed. Now I need to wait til Monday before being able to call them to say that they haven't fixed the problem and most likely book in for visit number 4!!

Expensive visit
Our washing machine developed a fault that caused it to trip the electricity the moment it was turned on. We were advised the call out charge was £48. The engineer arrived and took literally five minutes to tell us the machine couldn't be repaired. £48 to be told that we feel really cheated. It would appear this could have been diagnosed over the phone. The engineer was really polite and helpful but I still can't comprehend that I was charged £48 for what wasn't even five minutes work.

A charge of £48 (incl VAT) that covers the call-out and labour charge is very reasonable in my opinion. The fact that it only took the engineer 5 minutes to diagnose the fault is irrelevant as most of the cost is in the time and travel. You paid for an engineer to visit, diagnose the problem and offer to repair, if feasible, for the cost of parts. The fact that the machine was beyond economical repair is also irrelevant and the engineer was morally obliged to give you the facts as found, which presumably he did. Any machine will, at some point, reach a point where they become too costly to repair but consumer legislation provides protection to ensure the consumer can rely on a reasonable service life.

first class service
Had these guys out to repair my dishwasher, excellent service, called within time they said and were polite and courteous, repair was reasonably priced and fixed on the day. can't ask for more.
