Oven repair

Rang at 10.00 for a call out to a defective oven. By 14.00 it had been repaired at very reasonable cost. I wish all companies were that efficient.

Sloppy, unprofessional, incompetent

Our experience with Domestic Appliance Centre Kendal has been awful. We paid them nearly £130 to repair our washing machine. However, upon failing to repair it at our house, they took it to their shop in Kendal but again failed to repair it. What is worse, upon returning the machine we discovered that they had chopped off the power cord and kept the plug. This was discovered only after an approved repairer removed the machine from its housing — you can imagine the embarrassment of having to scramble for a plug (in the end I removed the TV plug for the repairer to fit to the washing machine).

In short, the way the Domestic Appliance Centre Kendal dealt with us was throughly unprofessional, sloppy and incompetent, to put it mildly. We paid them nearly £130 and all we got in return was a vandalized washing machine.

Definitely not recommended.
